Where to Watch The Traitors US in Australia: Which Streamer Has New Blood
The Traitors US streams in Australia on 10, Network 10's free streaming service (the one that used to be called 10 Play). The new fifth season, The Traitors: New Blood, was "streaming now, free on 10" as of Friday 18 September 2026, according to TV Blackbox, which is the day after it opened on NBC in America.
The gist:
- 10 is the Australian home of The Traitors US, and it costs nothing beyond a free account.
- Season 5 is called The Traitors: New Blood. It's the first American season cast entirely with members of the public.
- 10 hasn't published a day or time for each new episode that we could find, so the weekly gap behind the US is not yet confirmed.
| Service | Price | Delay behind the US | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10 (10.com.au and the 10 app) | Free with ads; sign-in needed | Season 5 was up by Friday 18 September, the day after the US premiere. Weekly timing not yet confirmed | Streaming only. TV Blackbox's report doesn't mention a broadcast slot |
| Peacock | — | — | The US streaming home. Not offered in Australia |
Is The Traitors US free to watch in Australia?
Yes. 10 is an ad-supported service, so there's no subscription. You'll need to sign in with a free 10 account, the same one that gets you 10's catch-up shows.
That makes it one of the cheaper American reality shows to follow here. The Challenge sits behind a Paramount+ subscription, and Grey's Anatomy needs Disney+.
Is The Traitors US on Netflix, Stan or Binge?
We've found no sign of it on any of them. 10 has carried the American version for a while: back in February 2024 its own site was promoting the latest seasons of both The Traitors UK and The Traitors US as streaming there. The 2026 season has followed the same path.
In America the show now goes out on NBC, with episodes on Peacock the next day. Peacock doesn't operate in Australia, so 10 is the legitimate route.
How far behind the US is Australia?
For the premiere, about a day at most. NBC opened the season with a two-hour double episode on Thursday 17 September at 8pm ET, which was 10am on Friday 18 September in Sydney. TV Blackbox reported the season as already streaming on 10 that same Friday.
What we can't confirm is the pattern after that. 10's show page isn't readable from outside Australia, and the report doesn't say when each new episode is added. Until 10 spells it out, treat "Friday afternoon or later" as a guess, not a schedule, and check the show page in the 10 app.
What is The Traitors: New Blood?
It's season 5 of the American show with a new subtitle and a new kind of cast. Earlier US seasons leaned on reality TV regulars. This time host Alan Cumming has 22 everyday Americans in the castle, picked from more than 60,000 applicants according to NBC's announcement as reported by TVLine.
TV Blackbox's write-up mentions lawyers, dog groomers, funeral directors and barrel racers among them. They're playing for a prize pot of up to US$250,000, in a castle in the Scottish Highlands.
When do new episodes of The Traitors US come out?
In the US, Thursday nights on NBC. TVmaze's episode list has 12 episodes for the season, and after the two double-episode weeks in September it settles into one a week:
| US air date (Thursday) | Episodes |
|---|---|
| 17 September | 1 and 2 |
| 24 September | 3 and 4 |
| 1 October | No episode |
| 8 October | 5 |
| 15 October | 6 |
| 22 and 29 October | 7 and 8 |
| 5 and 12 November | 9 and 10 |
| 19 November | 11 and 12 (listed as a double) |
Those are American dates as TVmaze lists them, and the later ones can still move. A Thursday night episode in New York is Friday around the middle of the day on Australia's east coast, so the earliest any episode could reach 10 is a Friday.
Is The Traitors US the same as The Traitors Australia?
No. The Traitors Australia is 10's own version, and its third season started on Tuesday 4 August 2026. The American show has a different host, a different castle and, this year, a cast nobody's heard of. Both live on 10, which is handy but also why searches get muddled.
The British original and its celebrity spin-off are separate again, and both are BBC One shows. Our sister site AU Reality On Air covers Australian reality TV night by night.
