10's Weeknight Quiz Hour: Deal or No Deal 6.30pm and Millionaire Hot Seat 7pm โ Times, 10Play and How to Apply

The gist: On 10, Deal or No Deal starts at 6.30pm AEST and Millionaire Hot Seat follows at 7.00pm, Monday to Friday. Both stream on 10Play. Tonight there's also a 70-minute Deal or No Deal special at 7.30pm.
10 rebuilt its weeknights around this pairing in February. News at 5pm, 10 News+ at 6pm, then the two game shows back to back, according to TV Blackbox's report on the reset.

What time is Deal or No Deal on?
6.30pm AEST, weeknights, for 30 minutes. Grant Denyer hosts. The guide lists it every night from Monday 14 to Friday 18 September.
It doesn't label new versus repeat episodes for Deal, so we can't tell you which nights are fresh. We'll note it in results posts once each episode has aired.
What's the Deal or No Deal special tonight?
A 70-minute episode at 7.30pm on Monday 14 September, after Hot Seat. It's been flagged as a Celebrity Jackpot edition, but 10 hasn't published who's playing, and the guide entry itself carries only the standard description.
Running 7.30pm to 8.40pm, it leads straight into Have You Been Paying Attention?
What time is Millionaire Hot Seat on?
7.00pm AEST, weeknights, 30 minutes, with Rebecca Gibney hosting. The revival launched on 10 on Monday 2 February 2026, per Mediaweek.

Hot Seat's numbering jumps around, from 125 to 166 to 3, but the guide flags only Thursday and Friday as repeats. There's also a 12.30pm daytime repeat on 10.

Why did Deal or No Deal move to 6.30pm?
It's had three weeknight slots in three years. The show ran at 6pm in 2024 and 7pm in 2025, and in late October 2025 TV Blackbox reported that 10 had saved it from the axe with a shift to 6.30pm and new episodes filmed in February.
That move made room for Hot Seat at 7pm. Nine's version of Millionaire Hot Seat had ended, and 10 picked the format up for 2026, giving it the half-hour straight after Deal.
Hot Seat's episode numbers show how much of it there is. This week's guide runs from episode 3 to episode 166 within Series 16, which is why repeats can slot in so easily on Thursdays and Fridays.
The result is an hour of two game shows with very different pace. Deal is about nerve and the Banker's offers; Hot Seat is six people answering until someone cracks.
Is Millionaire Hot Seat on at 7pm or 9pm?
7pm. TVmaze has Hot Seat episodes logged at 9.00pm Monday to Thursday, which doesn't match 10's own announcement or the broadcast guide. Both of those say 7.00pm, so that's what we use.
Each episode features six contestants, and tonight's line-up includes a highland cow lover, an amateur historian and a hiker, per the guide.
Can I stream Deal or No Deal and Hot Seat on 10Play?
Yes. 10Play streams channel 10 live and keeps episodes on demand, free with an account inside Australia. The Deal or No Deal clip below comes from 10's official YouTube channel.
How do I apply for Deal or No Deal or Hot Seat?
Go through 10's own show pages: 10.com.au/deal-or-no-deal and 10.com.au/millionaire-hot-seat. When the producers are casting, the application link appears there.
We couldn't confirm that either show has an open casting call this week, so don't be surprised if the form isn't live. Avoid third-party "apply here" sites that ask for payment; legitimate game-show applications are free.
What about Have You Been Paying Attention?
It's 10's Monday comedy quiz at 8.40pm AEST, hosted by Tom Gleisner, now in Season 14. TVmaze lists new episodes on 14, 21 and 28 September.
Last week's panel was Kitty Flanagan, Nath Valvo, Hayley Sproull and Danny Estrin. Tonight's guests hadn't been listed when we checked.
