Bottom line: Tipping Point Australia is on Nine and 9Now at 5.00pm AEST every weeknight. Monday to Thursday are new, Friday is a repeat, and there's an extra prime-time special this Thursday at 7.30pm.

What time is Tipping Point on tonight?
5.00pm AEST on Nine, running an hour. Monday's listing actually starts at 4.58pm in Sydney, so switch over a couple of minutes early if you don't want to miss the first drop.
Adelaide and Darwin see the east-coast start at 4.30pm on their clocks, and Perth at 3.00pm. Nine's local stations can shuffle the afternoon, so use your 9Now guide for the exact time where you live.
Which Tipping Point nights are new?
Monday to Thursday. TVmaze lists the show as a Monday-to-Thursday series, and this week's guide agrees: episodes 115 to 118 of Series 3 run on those four nights.
Friday is different. This week it's episode 25, from much earlier in the series, and the guide marks it as a repeat. That's four new hours out of five.
Compare that with The Chase opposite it, which has three new episodes this week. If you only watch new episodes and flick between channels, Thursday is Tipping Point's afternoon and Monday to Wednesday are a straight choice.
A quick way to check any day: Friday repeats in this week's guide carry a low episode number, while the new ones sit in the 115 to 118 range.

What is the Tipping Point 70 Years of TV special?
An 80-minute prime-time edition on Thursday 17 September at 7.30pm, marking 70 years of Nine. Todd Woodbridge hosts three pairs of well-known Nine faces.
Per the guide synopsis, the teams are Catriona Rowntree with Jules Lund, Nicky Buckley with Glenn Ridge, and Lisa Chappell with Bridie Carter. They're playing for $40,000 for charity.
The pairings aren't random. Rowntree and Lund are both long-time Getaway presenters, Buckley and Ridge co-hosted Sale of the Century, and Chappell and Carter starred together in McLeod's Daughters. Each duo stands for a different corner of Nine's history: travel, game shows and drama.
It's also an unusual booking for a daytime quiz. The regular hour pits three members of the public against each other; this one puts three famous pairs in prime time for a charity total rather than a personal jackpot.
It also explains why reality fans find nothing at 7.30pm that night. The Block doesn't air on Thursdays anyway, but our sister site's reality TV week has the full picture.
How does Tipping Point work?
Three contestants answer questions to earn counters, then drop them into a coin-pusher style machine hoping to tip more over the edge. Counters that fall become cash.
The last player standing gets a shot at the jackpot. We stick to the format and outcomes and don't reproduce the show's questions.
How long is Tipping Point, and when does it finish?
The weeknight show is listed at 60 minutes, so it ends about 6.00pm AEST, when Nine's news takes over. Monday's 4.58pm start is the only irregular one this week.
Thursday's special runs 80 minutes from 7.30pm, finishing around 8.50pm. On a night with no Block, that's a big chunk of Nine's prime time handed to a quiz.
Results from each new episode, including whether anyone took the jackpot, go up under Tonight's Results after the east-coast broadcast.
Can I watch Tipping Point on 9Now?
Yes, live at 5pm and on demand after broadcast. 9Now is free with a login and only works inside Australia.
If you're travelling overseas, 9Now won't play, and we don't recommend unofficial uploads. We couldn't find an official Tipping Point Australia clip channel on YouTube either; the similarly named channel belongs to the UK version, so we haven't embedded one here.
Is Tipping Point on at the same time as The Chase?
Yes. Both start at 5.00pm, Nine against Seven. The Chase has new episodes only Monday to Wednesday this week, so Thursday is the one afternoon when Tipping Point is new and The Chase isn't. See how to watch The Chase for its week.
